Now, India stands on the threshold of the 2014 general elections, and has to decide if it will go with the young and untested brigade, either the “Prince through the old Guard “Congress”, or the young, and so far much-loved “Aam Adami Party” led by the “AK”; or will it go for a model working in a state, by another big party, “BJP”, led by a nationalist, right-wing, religious conservative “Modi”.
To start off this issue, we have Jaibala’s take on the “Grand Tamasha” of the 2014 general elections, in her article “The Five Year Itch“. Followed by another article by Jaibala on Sikkim in Sikkim: The land Of Culture, Beauty and Chaam.
This is followed by the Lit Corner with two wonderful poems by Nirmal and Preethi. And a lovely short story by the talented Narendra Shenoy, which I quite enjoyed.
Then we have two reviews of the movies Captain America – The Winter Soldier, and Blue is the Warmest Colour by Rajathilagam and Uttiya, respectively. A new section for photography called “Through The Glass” with a photo by B K Raghunath, “Faces of the Moon“. And finally a wonderful OP-Ed article by Uttiya, “The Attitude Towards Beiber“.
I would like to welcome, B K Raghunath and Narendra Shenoy to YSeeker. And hope you will love their work just as much as we did at YSeeker.
